The Alinta Consulting team consists of highly experienced procurement, contract, grant, financial and Digital & ICT specialists who have worked across Commonwealth and Local Governments, domestically and internationally  over several decades.

Melissa is a Director of Alinta Consulting Pty Ltd and together with Tarian Dixon forms the management board of Alinta Consulting. Working in government, indigenous businesses and the community, Melissa has extensive experience in administration, time and people management, and has cultivated advanced organisational skills, leading and mentoring others in these fields.

Melissa is a proactive, organised, results focused professional with an exceptional personable and professional manner. She encourages a participative environment, is highly approachable and prides herself on her personal drive and integrity, and strong customer focus.

Director and Principal Consultant

Tarian is a Director of Alinta Consulting Pty Ltd and together with Melissa Searle forms the management board of Alinta Consulting. Tarian is a highly experienced contract and procurement specialist who has worked with both Commonwealth and Territory Governments undertaking whole of Organisation reviews for procurement, contracting and grants management. Tarian has designed and managed complex and strategic procurement approaches across all types of contracting activities, relationships and management strategies.

Supported by Melissa’s extensive administration experience and client focus, and the Alinta Consulting team, Tarian prides herself on being able to assist organisations in building high performance procurement and contracting teams by developing, mentoring and motivating skilled professionals and creating strategic alliances with organisation leaders to effectively align with and support key business initiatives. It is a key priority of Melissa and Tarian to establish strategic partnerships and relationships between client organisations and service providers.

Tarian possesses exceptional skills in research, analysis and contract relationship management. Her legal background enables her to work effectively within government legislative and compliance systems.

She has also designed, developed and delivered training up to the Graduate Diploma level in Government Procurement and Contracting across Commonwealth and Territory Governments and has worked internationally. Tarian’s network of peers enables Alinta Consulting to access specialist capability at the highest level and to provide services across a range of categories.

Tarian believes Alinta Consulting is a perfect opportunity to use her training experience to mentor and assist the development of Indigenous practitioners in the field of Government procurement and contracting whilst delivering outcomes to clients at an exceptional level of performance.

Daniel

Principal Consultant

Daniel is a principal consultant for Alinta Consulting, specialising in government procurement, contract management, vendor management, financial analysis and ICT training, advice and solutions. Working in and for the public service for two decades; managing, training and mentoring staff across these disciplines, spanning both on and offshore Commonwealth entities, has provided him with extensive experience and an in-depth understanding of Commonwealth government frameworks, legislation, compliance and policies, with a focus on the application of the PGPA Act.

Daniel excels in the provision of exceptional client service and satisfaction. With his seasoned ability to build, nurture and sustain effective and collaborative relationships, this allows him to work closely with all levels of management and staff to devise and implement strategic, technical solutions and service improvements which enhance people, process and technology to achieve the goals and performance objectives of the organisation.

Daniel possesses exceptional skills in public speaking and delivering training, being able to distil complex information and environments into straightforward, concise formats. This fosters smooth organisational change and achieves outstanding results in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner.
